Hurra for bloggen min, den fyller 4 år i dag! Sykt å tenke på, egentlig. Og jeg vet egentlig ikke helt hva jeg skal si. Men tusen takk til alle som leser bloggen min, og til alle som har hjulpet meg i kulissene for å få det til å gå rundt som en heltidsjobb med tiden. Bloggen har gitt meg så utrolig mange muligheter og opplevelser at det nesten svømmer over, og jeg er så innmari takknemlig.
Hatet, elsket, ledd av, ledd med, uansett: tror jeg med sikkerhet kan si at jeg lever de beste årene av livet mitt nå, og mye av det er takket været denne…BLOGGEN!
Jess, nok kliss, på tide med litt blogg-høydepunkter!
Etter et og et halvt år/to år med blogging, strømmet det lesere til, og jeg ble oppdaget av de lokale mediene i Tønsberg som prøvde å gjøre lokalkjendis ut av meg, hehe. Så sluttet jeg som freelancer i avisa for å kunne være i den i stedet. Eller noe.
Da de litt større mediene fikk snusen i at det var penger i denne bloggingen, ble det jammen skrevet om der og, og jeg følte meg nesten litt småkjendis da jeg ble listet opp i Dagbladets kjendis-spådom for det kommende året. Som sikkert var 2009.
Før jeg fikk den store intervju-skrekken stilte jeg opp i sikkert førtitusen intervjuer, og syns for eksempel det var superstas å havne i ELLE. Så stas at jeg på vei hjem fra byen løp innom 7Eleven, åpnet et ELLE-blad og viste det fram til alle kundene og de ansatte…..
Så begynte jeg å gå på sånne fancy eventer jeg fikk invitasjoner til. Åh, har hatt det mye gøy på disse eventene! Alt fra å stifte bekjentskaper og vennskap til å drikke meg så sørpedritings at det er blitt skrevet og snakket om i lang tid etter. Med tiden har jeg nesten sluttet å gå på eventer – vel, den hobbyen skal taes opp igjen!
Og så har jeg fått gleden av å jobbe med noen organisasjoner som gjør meg STOLT. Spesielt Plan Norge og Kreftforeningen. I september i fjor var jeg i Kenya og besøkte fadderbarnet mitt. Det er noe av det sykeste jeg har opplevd i hele mitt liv. Og sikkert noe av det aller aller beste jeg har opplevd gjennom bloggingen.
Og så….. Så begynte jeg å si ja til å gjøre TV-opptredner, og nå kan jeg skrive under på «det er helt jævlig å se seg selv på TV»- papiret. Utrolig pinlig, til tross for at jeg har møtt mange kule mennesker og ledd mye! Ville ikke vært foruten erfaringene om jeg kunne valgt på nytt : )
Og det aller aller aller beste jeg har fått takket været bloggingen er mange av de fantastiske vennene jeg har den dag i dag. Selvfølgelig har det ført til en haug av overfladiske champagne-venner òg, men noen av mine besteste bestevenner har jeg faktisk møtt fordi vi har samme, sære hobby: blogging, hehe. Nå ble det plutselig veldig vanskelig å sette sammen en collage av mine elskede, for jeg husker plutselig ikke hvem jeg i bunn og grunn har truffet gjennom blogging, så jeg dropper det.
