At jeg har tilbragt førsommeren på restaurant hver dag, og spist italiensk pizza og himmelsk gode pastaretter, har satt sine spor for å si det sånn. Min kjærlighet til den italienske maten på varme Oslo-dager smaker ikke like godt i etterkant når jeg ser meg i speilet, som de gjør når jeg faktisk sitter der med solbrillene på nesetippen, og lattermilde venninner rundt bordet.

Så nå. Nå har jeg latt meg inspirere av mine venninner som spiser low carb! Altså lite karbohydrater. Det betyr ikke at jeg skal på noen low carb-diett, for å tenke «slanking» og «fy, det der kan jeg ikke spise», pleier ikke å hjelpe mye. Så jeg skal rett og slett bare kutte ned på inntak av karbohydrater, og kutte ut ting som pasta, ris, brød og potet helt. Bare det blir vanskelig nok for meg!

Så i dag har jeg vært og handlet litt. Tenkte å lage strimlet kylling, salat og stekt sopp i setersmør i kveld. For meg høres det helt feil ut at man skal ha i seg masse fett (smør, fløte osv.), men sånt er visst lov når man kutter med på karbohydratene.

Herregud, jeg hater folk på diett! Men nå slenger jeg meg sånn halvveis på, så nå kan jeg i hvert fall delta i samtalene framover. Kanskje jeg kommer inn i fjorårets bukser også. To fluer i en smekk!

Jeg hører rykter om at man ikke skal ha i seg så mye salat og frukt heller. Gale mennesker. Så hvis noen har tips om gode saker med lite karbohydrater, sleng gjerne inn litt hjelp i kommentarfeltet!
