God dag! Hvor godt passer ikke denne pysjamasen til meg? Budskapet på T-skjorta kunne ikke vært mer sann. Nå som jeg er hjemme trenger jeg ikke engang å stå opp for å få i meg dagens første kopp med kaffe. Den står klar ved sengekanten før noen i det hele tatt forventer at jeg skal si god morgen.
Men jeg vil ikke snakke om kaffe denne lørdagsmorgenen. Jeg vil snakke om en «nyhet» jeg leste da jeg lå og scrollet meg gjennom min obligatoriske nettavis-runde i dag morges. I følge Min Mote er nemlig høstens store sminketrend å se usminket ut. Det har i det hele tatt vært stort fokus på å bruke lite eller ingen sminke i det siste, og da tenker jeg også på de sminkefrie utgavene av magasinet Det Nye. På én måte er jeg enig. Vi bør alle akseptere hvordan vi ser ut og være fornøyde med det, til tross for at det ikke er verdens enkleste jobb. Jeg er enig i at alle mennesker er vakrere uten tre kilo sminke, hard konturering og løsvipper.
MEN. Å fronte det «sminkefrie ansiktet» ved å trekke frem Jenny Skavlan, Kim Kardashian og backstagebilder av super models? De ser jo ut som de ble født photoshoppet. Kvisefri hud, jevn hudtone, ikke en fregne eller føflekk å spotte innen mils omkrets. For meg som har et helt annet utgangspunkt, gir ikke det «sminkefrie» ansiktet deres meg noe mer lyst til å sette makeupbagen i boden. Det må være lov å være forfengelig. Og når jeg våkner og ser ansiktet mitt med 19 føflekker, et dryss med fregner, rødhet i kinnene, blå ringer under øynene og synlige porer både her og der – ja, da får jeg lyst til å starte dagen med å sminke meg. Det er fantastisk å gå uten sminke. Men for meg er det noe som hører til hjemme, på trening, eller på sleepover med håret i dott. Å få noe i trynet på morgenkvisten hjelper i hvertfall på min selvtillit, og jeg føler meg rett og slett finere med et lag sminke eller to.
Akkurat det får være opp til hver enkelt. Jeg vil bare sende en liten dose forståelse til deg med acneutbrudd, deg som er kronisk rød i ansiktet, og deg som i likhet med meg selv, føler seg som 101 dalmatinere uten makeup. Vi trenger ikke følge høstens trender, vi kan gjøre hva pokker vi vil 🙂 
Nå må jeg seriøst komme meg ut av pysjen! Jeg skal jobbe i noen timer, og så skal jeg catche opp med jentene jeg tok opp fag sammen med før jeg begynte å studere. Det blir koselig, det!

Tror artikkelen sikter til at det er in med no makeup-makeup, altså ikke å gå sminkefri, men å sminke seg slik at det ser mest mulig naturlig ut.
Synes det er en fin trend, da det etter min smak kler de fleste bedre enn å bruke altformye dramatisk sminke, hvertfall til hverdags.
Men så er jo selvfølgelig dette en smakssak 🙂

Takk for at du tar opp dette temaet<3 Skulle gjerne gått sminkefri hvis jeg så like plettfri ut som Alicia Keys/Jenny Skavlan, men jeg er altså kronisk rød i trynet (har arvelig rosacea), og både føler meg bedre og beskytter huden min mot irritasjon fra vind o.l. når jeg har på meg sminke 🙂 Det er godt å høre noen andre refleksjoner rundt det enn kommentarer fra skjønnhetsmagasiner/bloggere/kjendiser som påstår at «det bare er å droppe sminken/kjøpe disse pillene/spise ditt og datt og så blir huden din helt flawless», og ikke tar hensyn til at det ofte er mer komplekse grunner til at folk har problemer med huden/ønsker å bruke sminke.
Du skriver så bra og så ærlig. Det er så deilig at noen kan si ting som f.eks det her, høyt! For det er garantert mange som tenker og føler som deg.
Har lest bloggen din lenge, og selv om du kanskje faller inn under kategorien «rosablogger»/»hverdagsblogger» så synes jeg at du skiller deg ut med måten du skriver på. Formuleringene, oppbygning av teksten og punch lines gjør innleggene dine interessante og morsomme, så selv om jeg begynner å bli gammel (kremt, 30+) kommer jeg til å følge deg lenge 😉

Veldig enig med deg! Jeg går ofte sminkefri hjemme og merkelig nok synes mannen jeg er penest uten noe sminke. Men selv føler jeg meg absolutt best når jeg tar på meg litt og får freshet meg opp. På sommeren kan jeg noen dager føle meg fin uten sminke, men da har huden en annen glød. Det er veldig typisk at repotasjer bruker folk som er veldig pene også uten sminke. Skulle likt å se de ha en helt «vanlig» jente til å posere sminkefri.. Med kviser, fregner o.l.

Jeg er helt enig! Kviser,rødhet,store porer og ugjevn hudtone er alle grunner til at jeg bruker sminke! Det er deilig å gå uten sminke,men det gjør jeg kun hjemme. Jeg føler meg hverken våken eller opplagt før jeg har fått på meg sminke. Om en føler seg bra med bare litt maskara eller foundation,er helt opp til en selv.
Kjenner jeg blir irritert når folk fronter den «sminkefrie» jenta,som en tydelig ser er enten photoshoppet eller faktisk har sminke! Bare at det synes ikke så godt,så det putter vi under kategorien «sminkefri».
Jeg bruker sminke for meg selv,ikke for andre.

Helt enig! Jeg synes det blir en dobbeltmoral at kjendiser skal skryte av at de er sminkefri, når de har penger til å besøke hudpleieren annenhver dag (litt overdrevet) og har plettfri hud. Folk må få bruke litt sminke hvis de har komplekser de ønsker å skjule uten at de skal bli kalt overfladisk.

Ingrid: ja, det er mye mer komplekst enn det. Og som du sier: sminke er ikke en gang kun for det visuelle, for noen kan det også beskytte plaget hud. Selv bruker jeg blant annet foundation med solfaktor fordi jeg er en tikkende bombe hva angår hudkreft. Så ansiktet dekker jeg med god samvittighet 🙂

Helt enig.. Har selv et litt dårlig utgangspunkt for å gå uten sminke… en trøtt mamma med store blå ringer under øya, og masse porer, litt uren hud, og ujevn hudtone. Så hadde jeg fått levert en jevn og fin hud og uten blå ringer, så kunne jeg vurdert sminkefri i hverdagen i alle fall.. Mascara er ikke et must her, men føler likevel når jeg allerede har sminket huden, så ser det litt rart ut uten..

Quite agree. Det er lett å stille usminket når man har svart hår og nokså brun i huden fra før av. Litt værre for de som har britisk hudtype og blondt/rødlig hår. Utseende-skalaen dropper som en stein for dem. Jeg synes alle kvinner burde sminke seg med en gang de står opp slik at de er fine å se på.
Kanskje noen vil kalle det mannsjåvinistisk, men jeg synes det må være greit at ulike kjønn har forskjellige krav til hvordan man skal stelle seg. Kvinner trenger ikke være så stressa som øst-europeiske damer er, men det er ikke innafor om det er sånn som i Danmark hvor alle damer ser ut som uvaskede burugler.
Ida: ja, da hadde jeg gått sminkefri resten av livet selv. Men så heldig har jeg ikke vært, gitt 🙂

Dette var godt å lese! Jeg er kronisk rød i ansiktet, og uten sminke ser jeg konstant flau/kald/forkjølet ut. Nesten litt komisk faktisk! Så her smøres det et tykt lag med foundation hver dag for å ikke fremstå som ekstremt usikker. Lett for andre å si at man er pen uten sminke, men jeg blir stort sett spurt om jeg er syk eller pinlig berørt. Hurra for sminke!

Jeg sliter veeldig med rødhet i ansiktet. Husker vaskehjelpen på skolen brukte å sende meg et lurt blikk og si «syk i dag?» på gebrokkent norsk, når jeg ikke hadde på sminke. Fy faen. Livet er ikke enkelt, dere. Men du, på disse bildene har du jo ett eller annet i ansiktet? Selvbruning? Du ser iallefall bra ut, og gir ikke resten noe bedre selvfølelse.

Er så enig med deg, det gjør ikke akkuratt selvtilliten bedre av å se på disse med plettfri hud. Selv har jeg alltid en stor kvise eller to i ansiktet, så selv om jeg skal på trening bruker jeg CC dagkrem i ansiktet for å få litt farge og for å skjule kvisene! Føler meg ikke fresh i det hele tatt uten sminke, så her sminkes det hver eneste dag utenom den søndagen jeg bare skal være hjemme 😉 Du ser smashing ut btw! 😀
Ja, ikke sant! Det som irriterer meg enda mer er når jeg ser på bildene av disse vakre «usminkede» menneskene og ser at, ja, de har bare farget øyebrynene, har på vippeexstensions og har restylan i leppene. Og for all del, jeg har ikke noe problem med det, gjør to av tre av de selv, men man kan ikke si at man er USMINKET med alt det stasjet. Man har kanskje ikke på foundation, men man har jo benyttet seg av en god del hjelpemidler for å fremheve sine gode sider.
Haha, dagens utblåsning :p nå skal jeg lukke mine løsvippebefengte øyne før jeg skal stå opp og sparkle ansiktet før studier. For da syns jeg nemlig at jeg er finest.

Det er vel ikke alt du vet svaret på, men selv om Kim har en unaturlig midje, eller photoshopper bilder så er hun jo smellvakker. Nå skal jeg bla med litt nedover din egen side og se om jeg finner et tips til oss med acneutbrudd eller lignende hudproblemer. Jeg har sett du har tipset om ting for huden før nemlig. Du vet når alt blir feil, Foundation, vipper, midjen og ja det meste så finnes det sikkert håp for oss med disse problemene også. Dette ble som vanlig litt smør på flesk, men det får gå… Ha en fin dag. 🙂
