God morgen, fine folk ♥ I går la jeg meg med høyhalset genser og sokker langt opp på leggen. Jeg bare visste at jeg kom til å våkne opp med grus i halsen i dag. Og jeg tok ikke feil. Æsj, så kjedelig. Men jeg er blitt ganske flink til å ta knekken på forkjølelser og halsvondt, så jeg satser på at jeg klarer det denne gangen også. Som om ikke det var nok, så SNØR det som bare det ute. Årets første snø… Jeg er i sjokk og dyp sorg. Neida! Men det er i hvertfall fint å ha en varm ferie å se frem til!
Som jeg har nevnt tidligere, har jeg bestilt min første kjæresteferie. Eller.. Nå var vi jo fem dager sammen på Gran Canaria. Men det var med mamma og pappa, så jeg vet ikke om det kan kalles kjæresteferie? To uker i Thailand er liksom mer check, hehe. Reisen vår går nærmere bestemt til Koh Samui.
Jeg har vært i Thailand to ganger tidligere, og trodde faktisk ikke at jeg kom til å reise tilbake. Men jeg lot meg overtale til Koh Samui, for det ser bare helt nydelig ut der. Og så er jo fordelen med Thailand at det er så billig å leve der. Massasje hver dag for eksempel? Ja takk. Vi reiser rett etter romjulen, og blir borte i hele 15 dager. Gleder meg så mye at jeg kunne begynt å grine, nå som jeg sitter her under pleddet og snufser med dalende snø som eneste selskap. Haha!
Uansett: jeg trenger din hjelp! Hvis du har vært i Koh Samui før, kan du ikke vær så snill og gi meg dine beste tips i kommentarfeltet? Det hadde jeg satt så utrolig stor pris på. Jeg er jo en planlegger, og ønsker alt av restauranttips, strandtips, tips til ting å finne på – og en ting som haster litt: hva bør vi gjøre på selveste nyttårsaften? Vi vil ikke ut og rave, bare spise en fin middag og se på fyrverkeri. 
Krysser fingrene for at jeg får noen gode tips, foreløpig har jeg bare rukket å Instagram-researche. Herregud, som jeg gleder meg til tur!

Om dere skal bo på Lamai Beach så anbefaler jeg lunsj på Black Pearl Restaurant. Ligger helt nede ved vannet, veldig lokalt, veldig hyggelig personale og god og billig mat <3
Ellers gikk vi jungelvandring med en fransk dame, husker ikke selskapsnavnet, og badet i et fossefall. Veldig gøy og morsomt å se en mer naturlig del av øya som ikke er super resort og shinet.
Å reise med kjæresten er det kosligeste som finnes! Jeg og kjæresten min har vært sammen i snart et år og har allerede besøkt Sverige (😂), Finland, Estland, Polen, Portugal, Kroatia, Bosnia og Montenegro. I romjulen reiser vi til London for å feire nyttår og i februar reiser vi til Sri Lanka! Lykke er å ha en som er like eventyrlysten som deg selv! <3

Åå, tror Thailand er fantastisk fint! Har hørt mye bra om Koh Samui – gled dere!
Kanskje et frekt spørsmål, i såfall beklager jeg for det er ikke ment sånn, men hvordan får kjæresten din råd til alle turene hvis han har en normal inntekt?
Jeg er medlem av en siden på Facebook som heter Reiseeksperten (tilknyttet vagabond reisemagasin tror jeg) Her kan man spørre om tips og anbefalinger til steder rundt om i verden. Mange bereiste mennesker her som har gode råd. Har gjort gruppesøk inne på siden om Thailand, siden jeg skal dit selv i Januar. Det kan virke som flere ikke er overbegeistret for Koh Samui, uten at jeg har noe førsehåndskunnskap om det selv. Men jeg tror det skyldes mye turisme 😛 Koh Phangan og Koh Tao virker som favorittene. Vet ikke hvor mye dere allerede har booket, men kan kanskje være verdt å se på de øyene også. Koh Tao skal være veldig fint, men litt dyrere. Men det skal sies at disse erfaringene er gjort mye fra et backpacker-perspektiv, og at det kanskje ligger andre ønsker til grunn for deres opplevelse av stedene. Sånn mtp. å komme nær lokalbefolkningen, priser, standarder, ting å gjøre osv. Vet ikke hvor mye dette var til hjelp men, haha 😛 Uansett tror jeg nok dere får en kjempefin ferie 😀 Thailand virker som et land med mange paradis <3

Duplex pool villa på Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort er det fineste stedet jeg har bodd på 🙂 Litt pricey, men helt fantastisk!
Jeg personlig syntes Koh Samui var en litt kjedelig øy. Den er ikke så stor og det er ikke såå mye å finne på der. Men til kjæresteferie plasser det kanskje bedre 🙂 Jeg ville nok tatt meg noen dagsturer ut til noen av de andre fine øyene, Koh Tao er en veldig koselig liten øy hvor det er kjempefint. (men litt skummelt om man googler, haha).

Koh Samui er utrolig fint. Har for det meste vært på Chaweng, stranda er veldig fin, men det kryr av turister der. Bra uteliv da! Men kanskje ikke det du er på jakt etter. Uansett, jeg ville i hvert fall tatt en dagstur med båt til Koh Tao (Hvis du ikke allerede har vært der) og til Nang Yuan. Fantastisk fint sted! God tur!
Vi var på koh samui i 2009 og det var bare heeeelt fantastisk!
Jeg husker ikke navnene på noen av restaurantene, men vi spiste på flere av de som lå på stranden. Veldig god mat og fantastisk service. Vil ikke skryte så mye av byen dessverre..

Ahh❤️ Koh Samui! Er noen år siden jeg var der nå, men anbefaler en beach club som heter republic og en restaurant som heter spago. Fishermans village er sykt koselig, men anbefaler ikke å spise på stranda på kvelden, ble spist opp av insekter.. Et besøk til big Buddha er fint å få med seg:). Er også muligheter for å bade i noen kilder innover i jungelen, men jeg syns vannet var ekkelt😬
Jeg var på Koh Samui i sommer, og det var virkelig helt fantastisk! Jeg har to restauranttips til deg: Prego og The Page. Prego er en italiensk restaurant med utrolig god mat og service! The Page er en ganske eksklusiv resaurant i fantastiske lokaler med utsikt mot havet. Begge ligger i Chaweng sentrum, og anbefales på det sterkeste<3
Ellers er det veldig underholdende å dra på dragqueen-show. Om kvelden er det mye liv på Ark Bar, men dessverre stenger alle utesteder der kl 12.

ååh, har vært der fire ganger. Men Jeg ville tatt fergen over til Koh Tao som er syykt fint, mye finere enn Koh Samui. Søk opp Koh Tao, masse mer ¨gjøre der, og er bare en liten tur unna med båt! Myye finere
Jeg var på Koh Tao og Koh Samui i januar/februar siden storesøsteren min giftet seg på Koh Tao. Hadde tre dager på Koh Samui før vi skulle hjem, siden det var mer praktisk siden flyet gikk tidlig hjem. Var der ikke så lenge, men har et par tips:
– Ta taxi! Det er utrolig mange som dør i trafikken hvert år, og de kjører helt vilt der! På hotellet vårt hadde de to vakter som hjalp deg over veien trygt. Ellers tok vi taxi/hotellets sjåfører til å kjøre oss og hente oss når vi skulle andre steder.
– Vi bodde på Prana resort samui. Veldig fint hotell, og stranden lå bare rett over veien. Bar i bassenget og kjempefine rom. Hotellet er veldig nærme flyplassen, så er en del støy fra flyene på stranda, men helt perfekt siden flyet vårt gikk grytidlig hjem.
– Ta en tur til Wat Phra Yai(den store Buddha-statuen på bildet over)! Men husk å kle dere ordentlig! Man skal helst dekke skuldre, knær og ankler, og munkene på området viser visstnok folk bort fra området hvis de ikke er ordentlig kledd. Man må også ta av skoene før man går opp trappen til statuen. Men vel verdt et besøk! Man kan også låne et sjal i bunnen av trappen til å dekke seg med hvis man trenger det. Nydelig utsikt og et fantastisk tempel!
Har dessverre ingen restaurantanbefalinger siden vi var der så kort, og ikke traff blink med de to middagene vi hadde der. God tur! <3

Jeg har selv vært på kjærestetur der, og trivdes så godt! Vi bodde helt i nord på øya, men hadde ingen problemer med å komme oss rundt på øya med scooter. Det fins en veldig hyggelig restaurant som heter Zazen som er mer i den romantiske-middag kategorien, som vi falt pladask for. I sentrum av chaweng er det en flott restaurant som heter Wine connection som vi besøkte flere ganger.
Jeg vil ikke anbefale de typiske turist-strendene, men heller å evt leie bil/scooter og kjøre rundt og oppdage en egen strand 🙂

Jeg var i Koh Samui med kjæresten for et par år siden. Vi var ofte inne i Fisherman?s Village på kveldstid, mange koselige restauranter og barer med beliggenhet ved stranden.
Åå, elsker koh samui! var der 3 uker i sommer, magisk plass. Vi bodde på et veldig fint hotell som heter amari, stranden rett nedforbi hotellet var ikke den aller beste men bassengområde og hotellopplevelsen var super.
Anbefaler virkelig en resturant som heter tree tops, utrolig god mat men litt stive priser.
Håper dere får en super ferie 🙂

Jeg og kjæresten min var i Thailand i august og så de samme bildene av ko samui før vi reiste. men dette viste seg å være en stor turistfellen – fikk litt følelsen av å gå i gatene i Marbella eller et annet europeisk tyst ferieparadis. Nå kom vi direkte fra Vietnam, så det ble en stor forskjell når kelnerne plutselig snakket norske gloser, eller halvparten av barene og resturantene var tyske. Du må heller ikke forvente samme strender som i krabi eller Phi Phi. dessverre! Jeg ville absolutt anbefale deg å heller ta båten til ko phangan. Ca en halv time med båt. Dette er en kjempekoselig øy som er mye mere autentisk og ikke så full av turister. vi leide scootere hele turen og så alt fra ville aper til høye fjell og natur. Om du reiser dit anbefaler jeg deg på det sterkeste å spise på L’Alcove. En utrolig fin resturant med besetning i vannkanten og helt sykt god mat. En av mine absolutte favoritter på grunn av beliggenhet og atmosfæren der. og maten da! (Og ikke se på TripAdvisor, for bildene der kan ikke beskrive det, men ratingen kan jeg bekrefte) Naboresturanten var også utrolig koselig! Kan jo også nevne at vi sov på v-view beache resort. nå har dere kanskje annet budsjett enn oss, men vi elsket å bo i de små bongalowene og å ligge på kveldene i hver vår hengekøye på stranden med et glass vin.
selv om jeg anbefaler på det sterkeste og i allefall ikke ta alle nettene i ko samui, håper jeg uansett dere får en fantastisk tur!
Hei Ida! Har dere booket overnatting hele oppholdet på Koh Samui? Hvis ikke ville jeg delt det opp og reist til Koh Tao en av ukene. Koh Samui har mange fine og mindre strender, men det er mye festing (på og rundt Chaweng Beach). På Koh Tao er det mer laidback og avslapping som gjelder.
Men – dersom dere blir værende på Koh Samui; styr unna Chaweng. Der er det mye yngre mennesker og høy party-vierpåferieogdrikkerossdritings-faktor.

Så koselig med kjærestetur! Anbefaler å reise med båt til Ang Thong national marine park på dagstur – helt fantastisk fint der 🙂 Det er guidet båttur arrangert av ulike selskaper, og jeg ville valgt den med «speedbåt» slik at dere får mest mulig tid i nasjonalparken.

Jeg vil anbefale å ta en tur til naboøya Koh Tao. En nydelig øy som er så liten at det ikke er lov med kjøretøy der! Det sies også at dette kanskje er det fineste stedet å snorkle/dykke i Asia 🙂 Koh Phangan er også veldig sjarmerende. Koh Samui er størst av disse tre naboøyene. God tur!

Da hadde hotellet dekket på så fint på stranda, så vi spiste en god middag der og så på rakettene på stranda 🙂 skal dere bo i lamai? Eller chaweng? Eller et annet sted? V har bodd på både lamai og chaweng. Lamai er hyggeligere og litt roligere synes jeg 🙂 vi har spist på ulike restauranter der, men ingen jeg husker godt. Hehe. Men et sted vi var mye på kveldene i Lamai er Shamrock! Kjempe kult sted!! Live musikk, øl, vin og drinker. Hehe. det er en veldig god meksikansk restaurant i chaweng! God mat og gode drinker! Husker ikke helt hva den heter, men tror det er den eneste der. Hehe. Og vi har også kjørt go cart der for kjæresten min blir rastløs av strandliv hele ferien. Så det anbefales hvis kjæresten din er lik! Vi var også på thai boksing, det var greit å få emd seg men det varte litt lenge synes jeg. Hehe. Og spa så klart anbefales! Vi var på massasje flere steder, men det som var best var «sjokolade spa»på et fancy hotell 🙂 Det var herlig! Chocoholics delight het behandlingen! Har vært en del på Koh Samui rundt samme tid, og det er helt fantastisk. Kjenner meg virkelig ikke igjen i kommentaren over om at man skal holde seg unna Chaweng, for jeg mener dette er stedet man burde være på. Man burde dra på stranden som ligger bak First House Hotel, da den er mer privat og rolig. Anbefaler å leie scooter og kjøre rundt hele øya, fantastisk fint!
I tillegg er det noe som heter «Football Golf», og det er skikkelig morsomt! Det burde dere prøve 🙂

Jeg elsket Koh Samui, men tror det blir litt masete om du hele tiden går i turistfellene.
ELSKET Coco Tams is Fishermans village. Her var vi hver dag/kveld, og hadde drinker.. kom før solnedgang og nyyyt. Det er en beach bar.
Ellers så er det en restaurant som heter «the hut» i fishermans village. Den ser ut som ei skikkelig rønne, og er overhodet ikke pyntet opp for turister. MEN; her hadde vi øyas beste thaimat, og det for en slikk og ingenting.
Dra på utflukt til Ang Thong national park. Vi dro med 100degrees, og det var et kjempebra og seriøst selskap. Passer bra hvis dere liker kayaking, snorkling og oppdage uberørte øyer.
Ellers var vi faktisk på kino ved et par anledninger. De har en veldig bra kino på kjøpsenteret i Chaweng. Ingenting er dubbet. Perfekt for en rolig kveld.
Angående stranden i Chaweng så unngå å ligge på midten, men gå mot «endene». Her er det mye finere, og roligere.
Taxi på øya er svindyrt (vi snakker norske priser). Men, det er et selskap som heter Navigo Samui (?). De har en app som du kan laste ned i forkant. Fungerer litt om Uber, og er veldig greit å bruke.
Det finnes også en veldig bra indisk (heller ikke fint innredet) i Chaweng. Husker ikke navnet på denne, men så ikke sånn veldig innbydende utenifra 😛

Slenger meg på kommentaren om Coco Tam?s; verdens beste drinker, chill musikk og øyas beste ildshow. Kan også anbefale restauranten LINK som også ligger i Fisherman?s village, supergod pizza hvis man vil ha litt avveksling fra thaimat.
Ikke den mest FANCY restauranten (de har flyttet sted, så sikkert mer fancy nå) – men Ninja Crepes – ER Å ANBEFALE! Jeg trodde samboeren min tullet når vi skulle spise der, så shady ut! MEN FY F**N for god mat! Spiste nesten lønsj det hver dag! Anbe
Muay Thai (boksing) er enn opplevelse – noe jeg aldri ville trodd.
Det er stadioen ved sentrum jeg anbefaler. TUKTUK og taxi er ekstremt dyrt (iforhold til thailand) – vi leide scooter – og fungerte veldig bra!
Ps mango på stranda der er utrolig god! Bedre enn der jeg var i Thailan nå sist!

Jeg har vært og besøkt Koh Samui noen ganger, siste gangen var for neste to år siden. Det er en kjempe fin øy, mye og gjøre og se. God mat, og flotte mennesker. Jeg ville anbefalt The Chef restaurant. Spiste der opptil flere ganger, og anbefalt andre som har dratt dit i ettertid og de er like fornøyde.
Det er mye liv og røre på Koh Samui, om dere ønsker noen rolige dager med kun avslapning, og fine solnedganger ville jeg anbefalt på det sterkeste å dratt til Koh Tao over en natt eller to. Et av de fineste stedene jeg noen gang har vært!

Likte meg godt på Koh Samui. Er ikke et sted jeg ville dratt tilbake, men det er nok bare fordi jeg hadde skyhøye forventninger før vi reiste. Men alt i alt et fint sted og en reise jeg ikke ville vært foruten! Vi dro på blandt annet på en sånn «arrangert» utflukt til namuang (heldigvis var det bare vi som hadde meldt oss på den dagen, haha), der vi besøkte en kjempefin foss (namuang waterfall), red på elefanter, spiste god lunsj ,og klatret og kjørte zipline i tretoppene i regnskogen. Veldig kul utflukt!
Ellers anbefaler jeg absolutt å dra til wat plai laem/big Buddha som er et sinnsykt fint tempelområde. En fantastisk opplevelse å ha vært der (og så er det jo alltid gøy å få sett litt lokal kultur).
Ville anbefalt en spesiell restaurant og et spa også i nærheten av chaweng, men disse husker jeg dessverre ikke navnet på 🙁

Koh Samui er en av mine favorittøyer og er perfekt for kjærestetur! Kan absolutt anbefale restauranten Barracuda som ligger i Fishermans village! Sinnsykt god mat – litt dyrere enn thairestaurantene, men ABSOLUTT verdt hver krone!

Et lite tilleggstips hvis dere tenker å dra på utflukt til Koh tao med overnatting, er «View point resort Koh tao» et helt fantastisk hotell! Søsteren min giftet seg der i februar, og jeg og kjæresten bodde i pool villa 2 i to fantastiske dager. Hadde eget basseng med utsikt til havet, og fikk frokosten servert på rommet til ønsket tidspunkt. Har flere bilder av pool villaen her: http://byanne.blogg.no/1486050334_pool_villa_2.html
Kan dessverre ikke komme med så mange tips til Koh Samui, men har bodd 9 måneder på Koh Tao og kjenner den øya ut og inn, så rop gjerne ut hvis dere trenger tips til steder å bo, hvordan komme seg dit, restauranter, barer, ting å gjøre osv 😉 Så det var ei over her som hevdet at det er forbudt med kjøretøy på Tao, det stemmer ikke! Er masse scootere og pick-uper (som brukes som taxier), men omtrent ingen vanlige biler. Bare så du ikke får feil inntrykk 😉
Dere må dra på Jungle Club! Det er helt nydelig, er et hotel oppe i fjellene med bra restaurant og man spiser med den sykeste utsikten ned mot havet, må sjekkes ut! Det er også veldig fint å leie moped å bare kjøre rundt øya 🙂
Ser ut som at du har fått mange fine tips, og er enig med en lengre opp her – Wine Connection i Chaweng har kjempegod mat og drikke, anbefaler det absolutt 🙂 Koh Samui er fantastisk, gled deg masse!
Kan anbefale fishermans village! Verdens beste drinker og skikkelig chill stemning på coco tam. Den beste biff resturanten på øya ligger også i fishermans village og heter The Shack, anbefales virkelig!! 🙂 Ellers så burde dere besøke en plass som heter Jungel Club, det ligger mellom Chaweng og Lamai. Bare kjøreturen opp dit er en opplevelse, kronglete og bratte bakker. På toppen er det en helt ok restaurant, men med verdens vakreste utsikt over Chaweng 🙂 På chaweng beach likte jeg best å ligge på Elephant, de har de diggeste solsengene. Hvis dere vil på en litt roligere strand anbefaler jeg choeng moon 🙂 Andre restauranter i chaweng by som er verdt et besøk er DUOMO (italiensk), Pasta house og Gringo (mexicansk). The cliff (rett i nærheten av Beach republikk) er også verdt et besøk, men da burde man reserve bord ute til solnedgang, fantastisk utsikt 🙂 God tur!!
Anbefaler å booke bord på Romantic Bamboo i Lamai! De har vært nr.1 på tripadvisor i flere år og ikke uten grunn! Drives av to italienske brødre og kona til den ene broren. Kona er thai så her får dere både thai og italiensk mat, som smaker helt nydelig!! Tiramisuen må også prøves… Restauranten er i en liten bambus-hytte(ish), og er stort sett fullsatt hver kveld, så jeg anbefaler deg å finne de på Facebook å reservere et bord i forveien 🙂 Hvis dere er veldig glad i thaimat er de små, familiedrevne restaurantene de beste å dra til. Ser ofte kanskje litt shabby og trist ut, men det er de som har thaimat som smaker som thaimat.(Og som tørr å spice opp maten din når du sier du vil ha spicy fordi om du er turist)
