Jeg har aldri vært på Rhodos før. Likevel har jeg alltid assosiert det med bar street, store ungdomsgjenger på heisatur og skitne strandbarer. Kan det være TV3 og Charterfeber sin skyld? Mye mulig.
For jeg har fått alle fordommer knust, og har forelsket meg helt i dette stedet. Det skal sies at vi ikke bor i Rhodos by, men på andre siden av øya. Og det vil jeg anbefale alle som skal hit å gjøre. Stedet vi bor heter Lindos, og det er et paradis. Vannet er så klart og turkist at reisefølget helt sikkert er lei av å høre meg si wow. De har feriert her i alle år, og er vant til synet. På de få dagene jeg har vært her, har jeg sett så mange vakre strender og hyggelige gater, at jeg nærmest har gått i bryllupsplanlegging-modus. Og makan til Instagram-vennlige restauranter og strandbarer! Jeg har for det meste levd i nuet og glemt kameraet som ligger i veska, men skal prøve å komme med noen gode tips etter endt tur 😀
Hele mandagen har gått med til å ligge på en solseng på en helt fantastisk strand i Lindos. For en start på uka! Eller, jeg var nok mer i vann enn på land, for varmen var til å dåne av. Men merkelig nok, så er jeg blitt glad i å ligge i sola igjen. Det er mange år siden jeg syns det var deilig å ligge i solsteiken. Så da får jeg være ekstra flink med solkremen, og passe på å ta pauser.
Se på det vannet her da! Og så er det selvfølgelig enda finere i virkeligheten – som vi pleier å si om vår nye flamme, når venninner maser om å få se bilder av ham… 
Så, ja. At Rhodos har så mange perler, var en positiv overraskels for meg. Jeg kunne vært her i ukevis!
I kveld har vi hatt grillings hjemme i huset, og det er en trøtt gjeng som tar tidlig kveld etter alt for mye sol og mat. But life is good ♥

Charter-Svein på TV3, har stort sett reist til Gran Canaria, ikke til de greske øyer og Rhodos. Lindos, som er et meget spesielt og vakkert sted, bør aldri bli sammenlignet med rølpe-stedene på de spanske øyene. Vil anbefale alle Rhodos spesielt, og de greske øyer generelt. Nærmere paradis, kommer man ikke!
